Our wildlife is precious. Join us for this workshop to learn how you can contribute to the biodiversity of your suburb by creating habitat and food sources for the fauna that inhabit your area.
Learn the impact on birds when we feed them scrap foods such as bread which can cause them to become malnourished and can thus affect our waterways.
The importance of tree canopy cover in our cities, reduce the heat in our urban areas, is one of the most important design features for cities in the 21st Century. Urban Forest strategies have proven to activate communities, improving human health, mental well-being, as well as environmental health and habitat for our wildlife– shading pavements and buildings
Learn how to create habitat including bird boxes and water stations. Build insect hotels for native bees & other insects and discover how simple recycling of your unwanted containers can become homes for native animals that have lost theirs through urbanization.
